Work-Life Balance as a Solo Founder: Does It Exist?

Work-life balance is hard when work and life blur together.

The Reality

Working from home means work is always accessible. Just one more commit. One more support ticket.

It's 9 PM. I'm still at my laptop.

What I Try

Set Hours: 9 AM - 6 PM. Weekends off (mostly).

Physical Separation: Work desk ≠ relaxation space.

Exercise: Running 3x/week. Clears the mind.

Social Time: Friends. Family. Non-work conversations.

What Actually Happens

Work hours bleed. Weekends include "just checking email." Exercise gets skipped when deadlines loom.

The Struggle

When you're the only one responsible, boundaries feel optional.

Missing a day of work means a day of lost progress. Lost revenue. Lost momentum.

The Lesson

Burnout is real. Sustainability matters more than speed.

Still figuring this out.

The Goal

Build a business that supports life, not consumes it.

Not there yet. Working on it.
